Jaw crusher parts mainly include liner plate, moving jaw, bearing, tooth plate, and thrust plate, so how are these parts installed? Let's take a look at how the jaw crusher parts are installed.
Here is the content list:
Installation of the liner plate
Installation of the moving jaw
Mounting of bearings
Installation of the gear plate
Installation of the thrust plate
A soft metal spacer is placed between the liner plate and the jaw plate and fastened with bolts to ensure that the liner plate is firmly attached to the jaw plate and that the liner plate is evenly stressed at all points. The crests and valleys of the two liners should be exactly concave and convex to enhance the crushing effect of the liners on the material; a spring-loaded anti-vibration device is installed to reduce the vibration of the liners during operation and to ensure the stability of the jaw crusher components.
The jaw, jaw shaft, movable gear plate, elbow pad, and other jaw crusher parts are assembled in advance and then lifted and installed in the frame by crane. The sliding bearings are then fitted into the bearing housing of the frame and the deviation of the tilt and coaxial is measured. If they are within the permissible range, apply lubricating oil to the bearing and journal surfaces and place the movable jaw into the bearing.
Before assembly, check the bearings for rust and corrosion, and check whether the radial clearance, bore size, and accuracy of the bearings and the eccentric shaft assembly journal size meets the requirements. It is forbidden to hit the bearing surface with tools during bearing installation to avoid damage to the jaw crusher parts. The correct method of installation is to press the end face of the bearing collar with a sleeve and then tap the sleeve with a tool to press the collar in a balanced manner.
The tooth plate is usually fixed to the front wall of the frame and the moving jaw with bolts or wedges, and a layer of soft metal spacers is placed between the back of the fixed jaw tooth plate and the front wall of the frame, or lead and zinc metal is poured between the moving jaw and the tooth plate, etc. to ensure a tight bond between the moving jaw and the tooth plate.
Check that the thrust plate is not damaged, then pull the moving jaw near the fixed jaw, clean and lubricate the working surface with a lubricating agent, then replace the thrust plate with a new one so that it slowly contacts the working surface of the elbow plate and pull the horizontal tie rod tightly so that the moving jaw clamps the thrust plate in place. Tighten the safety cover, connect the lubrication system of the jaw crusher parts and then just adjust the size of the discharge opening.
